Flight of the Hornet

+++Flight of the Hornet+++

This image, from start to finish, took at least 15 hours of work. I worked on this every night for about 4 days.
I first drew out a basic outline of the hornet in Adobe Illustrator, then exported it into a layered Photoshop file.
From there, I basically filled in the drawn shapes with color.
Then came the difficult part. I drew in every little fuzzy hair on that thing until it was at a good consistency (good enough to pet).
After the hornet was done, I began piecing together a beautiful and colorful backdrop for it to rest on.
I sincerely hope everybody enjoys the work I've put into this.
