Description
This is a basic sketch I'm working out for my design class. Basically, our assignment is to create a movie poster composition for a movie we like that is relatively unknown so we would be unphased by the advertising that went into it. Does that make sense...?
Anyway, I chose Donnie Darko as my movie, and this is a basic sketch that I worked on for a few class minutes. While this isn't a 100% accurate portrayal of Frank, I think its a good start. I didn't want to render Frank as the freaky guy-in-a-bunny suit he is because it might change the composition a bit and scare the women and children. So, I rendered a representation of Frank from my memory, considering I saw the film quite some time ago.
More will be added to this pencil sketch as time goes on, resulting in the final piece which may or may not be hand-drawn (assuming I can find some quality images of the cast). Thoughts, ideas?
