Along with the venerable *arpad, I present to you this new dA logo concept.
There is an entire article explaining the ideas behind this design, so I'll let you read that.
*arpad was mostly responsible for the crafting of the mark (the dA shape) whereas I was mostly focused on typography and overall direction.
What you see here are the 3 variants of the logo:
The 'default' logo
Sans enclosure
What we call the "tight spaces" version, for use when horizontal space is minimal.
